O’Brien County Economic Development Corporation and its subsidiary, O’Brien County Tourism, is proud to announce the publication of their first ever tourism brochure. The O’Brien County Tourism Committee has been working hard over the past several months to make this project a reality. With the assistance of a grant from the Western Iowa Tourism Region and private donations, the beautiful color brochure will soon be on its way to all the Iowa Tourism Welcome Centers and local communities.
The cover page of the brochure features a striking photograph by local artist, Bruce Morrison. In the center fold-out area is a map made by the O’Brien County Engineer’s office expressly for the purpose of the brochure. The map includes a legend indicating a many recreational and historical points of interest in O’Brien County. Each of the eight communities in the county is represented with a picture and included in a chart of activities. O’Brien County Economic Development Corporation and O’Brien County Tourism are very pleased with the outcome of this project. Please be sure to look for the O’Brien County brochure in every Iowa Tourism Welcome Center and local community you visit.
