C.E.O. Roundtable
Subject “Cap and Trade”

Northwest Iowa Development would like to invite you to a C.E.O. Roundtable. The purpose of this event is to allow you to network with your peers from the area, to learn from experts on pertinent issues and to give you the opportunity to seek synergistic opportunities with your peers.

This C.E.O. Roundtable is a presentation and discussion lead by:

William J. Fehrman,
President & CEO of MidAmerican Energy Company

The topic at this roundtable is the recently U.S. House passed American Clean Energy and Security Act of 2009, known as the Waxman-Markey and commonly referred to as the “Cap and Trade Act”. MidAmerican Energy believes this legislation will have a severely negative impact on consumers and is disappointed members of Congress passed the bill out of the House.
