Diane Lingen and L. Paul Einck are new owners of Baxterz Bar & Grill, formerly JW’s, located on the West side of The Square in downtown Primghar. According to Diane and Paul, the purpose of Baxterz is to “serve high quality food at an affordable price” and to “provide a relaxing atmosphere to the residents of Primghar and the surrounding communities.” Anyone who has wandered into Baxterz in the past few months will agree they are accomplishing their goals! Diane and Paul’s menu includes a wide variety of appetizers, salads, sandwiches, entrées and beverages as well as noon specials that appeal to the working lunch crowd.

O’Brien County Economic Development, in conjunction with the O’Brien County Revolving Loan Fund Committee has approved financing for this new business endeavor. Revolving Loan Fund funds are used to attract, retain or expand business or industry. Revolving loan funds may be used for the following: Land purchases, Building purchases, Building Construction, Machinery purchases, Equipment purchases and any other uses deemed appropriate by the RLF Committee.
